like tired of blue states going

i hate when even liberal blogs i otherwise agree with STILL drop the ‘can’t be bothered with red states’ bullshit

it’s like. how many times do we have to discuss voter disenfranchisement?

how many times do we have to trot out district maps of cities in red states being gerrymandered up to their eyeballs?

how many times do we need to remind holier than thou leftists in blue states

that the largest population of black people live IN RED STATES?

namely the south

and obviously there’s a correlation there… #(midwestern red states are getting hit by poor & under-educated people voting conservative) #(which is awful and they don’t get let off the hook

but it’s not like there haven’t been decades long

coordinated efforts for this very result)

and again—we KNOW this

liberals i otherwise respect and who know and will comment on this phenomena

and STILL be like ‘i’m so saaaddddd about the way things are i can’t be botherrred to care about red states’

sO just fuck all the ppl in red states who fought tooth and nail against conservative government huh

and who suffer the most as a result

also with regard to 2024 specifically

if the logic is

‘you get what you voted for so fuck red states’

then a lot of blue areas need quietly accept their fate for. you know.
