i’ve never done a pinned introductory post before, but better late than never?

been on tumblr since june 2011. same blog name, same pfp, just the Whole time. while i have joined (and often deleted my account from) other social media websites, tumblr is the only one i’ve ever genuinely engaged with and enjoyed, for all its flaws.

i work as a collections specialist at a fine art museum and am happy to talk more about all the cool stuff that happens at museums that has nothing to do with curating lmao. my current job specifically lets me to digitize all day, every day :)

i have 7 rescue cats lol. i had a normal amount (?) with 4 rescue cats and then took in 3 stray kittens because they were very, very sick and. well. several months later. now i have 7 rescue cats. they’re all fixed & indoor-only because i’m not an idiot. (80% of the little baby kittens in my neighborhood that don’t make it past a few weeks old at best are the product of people’s “pets” being allowed to roam free and un-neutered. so. congrats if you’re an irresponsible jackass.)

i have been writing creatively since i was 7, and picked up writing fanfic when i was maybe 13 or so, and posted my first fics in high school before taking a long, long, long pause and not posting any more fics until my 30s, and now all my fics are of javert les miserables getting [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] in as many ways as possible.
